SAP Developer (SD)

Design, develop and maintain ABAP solutions for SD requirements: classis reports, module pools, enhancements, user exits, BADI's, BAPI's and RFC's. Implement and maintain interfaces and integrations (IDoc/EDI, RFC, PI/PO/CPI, web services, OData/SAP Gateway) for customer, shipping and billing systems. Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services for sales, delivery and billing scenarios: implement UI/UX improvements and Fiori launchpad integration. Participation in S4/HANA conversions/implementation projects: adapt custome code, perform compatibility checks, migrate reports and interfaces to S4/HANA. Performance analysis and code optimization (SQL tuning, buffering, memory usage). Prepare technical design documents, unit tests and technical documentation, participation in integratiin and user acceptance testing and supporting data migration tasks. Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, coordinate with external service providers and ensure code quality.

Professional requirements:
- Strong ABAP development skills (mandatory): classical reports, module pools, ALV, OO-ABAP, BAPI's, BADI's, RFC's, IDocs
- Experience with S/4HANA development topics (ABAP on HANA, CDS views, AMDP, RAP) and hands-on code adaption for S/4 conversions
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData services
- Experience with integration topics (EDI/IDoc, SAP GTS, EDI partners, APO, eWM) and interface development
- Knowledge of E-invoicing/SAP DRC or other cross-country compliance topics
- Strong understanding of SD business processes (invoicing, shipping, foreing-trade, etc.)
- Familiarity with further SAP modules integration (FI/CO, PP)
- Good debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand functional specifications and produce clear technical design documentation
Education and experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in SAP development with demonstrable exposure to the SD area
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or comperable IT education
- Experience supporting SAP SD processes and developments
- Good understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and related business requirements
- Ability to work effectively with functional consultants and business users
- Good English communication skills
